Hello and welcome, my name is Claudia. Since earning my Doctor of Psychology
(Psy.D.) degree in 2004, I have dedicated my career to providing compassionate,
evidence-based therapy to individuals facing a wide range of life challenges and
circumstances.
Early in my career, I worked at a homeless shelter supporting women with children,
where I gained valuable experience helping clients navigate trauma and complex social
stressors. I also provided specialized therapy to veterans and 9/11 first responders,
assisting them in processing traumatic experiences and strengthening resilience.
While living in Florida for 15 years, I expanded my practice to support survivors of
hurricanes and flooding, offering counseling focused on disaster recovery, coping, and
emotional healing.
Throughout my career, I have helped individuals struggling with depression, anxiety,
social anxiety, chronic illness, life transitions, relationship concerns, caregiver strain,
workplace stress and burnout prevention.
My approach is comprehensive and holistic, with an emphasis on the connection
between mind and body. Working collaboratively with my clients, our focus is on
establishing healthy routines, cultivating supportive and meaningful relationships and
achieving personal goals. Together, we will work to reduce procrastination, strengthen
motivation, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater
confidence and effectiveness. I look forward to helping you identify and build upon your
unique strengths in order to overcome obstacles and create a happy, fulfilling and
meaningful life.
