Contact:

Hi there! I’m Savannah Swartout, and I’m so glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable or uncertain, so my goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted.

I’m passionate about supporting women, trauma survivors, and LGBTQIA+ individuals as they navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, body image, relationships, self-discovery, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy helping women who have experienced trauma rebuild self-esteem, independence, self-trust, and confidence, while providing an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals exploring identity, relationships, and authenticity. I believe everyone has an inner strength worth reconnecting with, and I bring empathy, curiosity, honesty, and humor to help clients rediscover that strength and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and individualized. I draw from Feminist Therapy, ACT, CBT, motivational interviewing, and person-centered approaches to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and develop practical tools for meaningful change. I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, values, and goals because I don’t believe healing is one-size-fits-all.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology from East Carolina University and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Campbell University. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with four years of post graduate experience.

Ultimately, I want therapy to help you reconnect with your power, build confidence, and create a life that feels true to who you are—with tools you can carry beyond the therapy room. I look forward to being part of your journey!
