Seeking therapy is a courageous step toward healing, and I’m honored to guide you on that journey. I’m Evan Watlington, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMCHCA) and Licensed School Counselor in North Carolina, with an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from the University of South Carolina. With over four years of counseling experience, including 2.5 years as a Child Protective Services Investigator and as a school counselor across the Carolinas, I’m dedicated to serving diverse communities.

I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and families address anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges and substance abuse. Using evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFBT), and play-based interventions, I tailor sessions to your needs. I’m passionate about empowering clients with tools like guided imagery to manage anxiety, creating a safe, culturally responsive space.
