Meet Donna Robinson

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 25 years of experience working with children, ages 3 to 12, and their families. I have provided mental health services as a school counselor, through private practice, community based services and through a managed care organization. I believe play therapy is the most effective way to assist young children in processing their feelings and experiences and to develop better ways of functioning. I have extensive training and experience in play therapy and I have enjoyed my work with children. I feel passionate about providing them with an emotionally safe environment to grow. I also enjoy assisting parents with building strong, happy relationships with their children. Parenting can be challenging even in the best of circumstances. I can help parents to develop strategies to manage their children’s emotions and problematic behaviors. 

I am also available to work with individual adults that are dealing with relationship issues, depression, anxiety and grief/loss. Often life presents individuals with situations that can be difficult and overwhelming. Whether your difficulties are situational or issues you have dealt with for a long time, I can assist you in discovering your strengths and shaping a life in which you can thrive.
